Whitworth Custom Homes built a music room onto my existing home. I am a violinist in Denton and needed a studio to teach my private violin students. This company was very professional and did a fantastic job. The work was completed ahead of schedule and I get so many compliments on this room. Our last two homes have been Whitworth Homes. The first was a ground up custom home with a three-car garage. After 12 years of problem free living in that home, we decided to move. The second Whitworth Home was a Farm House remodel. I guess I should say more than a remodel. John had to remove the interior, down to the concrete and wall studs. From there he meticulously rebuilt the home with full encapsulation, 20 SEER HVAC, new electrical and plumbing along with windows. You have to love an average electrical bill of $90. I would recommend Whitworth Custom Homes and as you can see from above, have used them again.

Pursuant to our discussion the other day, this is to reflect on the manner in which you added on to my airplane hanger a little over a year ago at my residence in Sanger, TX.
If you'll recall, Judy and I had just moved into our residence at 8045 Airfield Dr. and we needed an extension done on my hangar so I could store some of my antique cars in the building. Through some neighbors, I discovered you and your company and I contracted with you to perform the work. At the time, I was unable to spend any time at all at the jobsite, so you got to supervise the entire job and monitor it's progress.
In my opinion and the opinion of everyone who's looked at it, the expertise and craftsmanship are exemplary. The steel work is strong, the fellow who did the welding knew exactly what he was doing and you provided a complete, turn-key facility on budget and within the time frame we'd discussed all along. You demonstrated that you have the ability and the willingness to manage a project such as this without any input from any other source. When you were completed, I was relieved that I hadn't needed to spend a great deal of time overseeing/checking up on the project. Your quality of your work and the ease with which you accomplished it, reflected the fact that you have the personal competence and integrity to manage a complex project and finish it on time and on budget. No one can ask more of a contractor.

In late 1998 Jonathan Whitworth constructed a pre-engineered metal barn on our property. Using our specifications, he prepared an estimate for labor and materials. He built the barn on time and within budget.
Jonathan did a first-class job. He was dependable, and he did exactly what he said he was going to do. He kept us advised during the construction and promptly returned our calls.
Since then, we've been totally satisfied with our barn. We have recommended Jonathan to others. In fact, we asked him for his business cards to pass on to people looking for a builder.

This letter is in response to your request for references regarding bolt together pre-engineered metal buildings. We have been more than pleased with our building. The structure was built 3 to 4 years ago and we have had no problems what so ever. You were able to start the project right away and finished it very quickly. All the extras that we discussed (electrical, plumbing, special concrete for horse stalls) were handled exactly as requested. The structure is still in excellent condition today.
The reason we selected you for this project is that you were also the builder of our home as well. We were so pleased with the quality of our house that we knew you would have no problem building our barn. It is our opinion that you are certainly qualified to build metal buildings and would have no problem recommending you to our friends. A person of your honesty and integrity is a pleasure to work with on projects that are so personal.

In 2001 my husband and myself, hired Jonathan Whitworth, to build our metal barn/building. Our building was a pre-fabricated type bolt together structure from Mueller buildings Inc. We decided to hire Jonathan, after seeing other similar buildings that he had built and liked his workmanship and straightforward honesty. After Jonathan completed our metal building we have had several compliments on his workmanship and ability and have gladly given him several other references. Shortly after he had completed our building, we hired him to build our 3,800 sq. ft. custom home. That we are very pleased with! I feel that Jonathan, has done a remarkable job for us, and has also gained our trust during our relationship. As a result of Jonathan's skills and courtesy, I recommended his services to my son and his wife. They also used his services to build there home in which they are very pleased with.

In 1999 we engaged Jonathan Whitworth to build our home. This was early in his career as a contractor, and this is the first metal frame home he ever built. Before engaging him, he told us that he had never done a metal building before, but that he was interested in doing so and would really like the opportunity to build it for us. We engaged him primarily because we felt he was an honest man with integrity, which to us was as important as experience.
We had a good relationship with him, and feel very comfortable about the quality of construction. He went to great effort to meet our high standards. It is a good, sturdy home, and is serving us well. There have been no indications of any structural weaknesses.
We still feel he is a man of integrity, and that he expends much effort to build a home of the quality he, himself, would like to live in.

We contracted Jonathan Whitworth (owner of Whitworth Custom Homes) in January, 2010 to build our new dream home in Sanger, Texas. The contract was based upon a very professional presentation both verbal and written (entire conceptual design of new home) design parameters with utmost detail. The pricing was very competitive, but the impressive aspect was the quality of conveying the understanding for the upcoming process of building the home. I am a violinist/violin teacher in Denton, TX., and I hired Whitworth Custom Homes to build a music studio. Mr. Whitworth (owner of Whitworth Custom Homes) was very professional and was willing to answer any questions I may have had. He used quality building materials and when the Denton Building inspector came out to inspect Mr. Whitworth's work, he mentioned several times that Mr. Whitworth used more "reinforcement material" as well as insulation that was required by The City of Denton. Mr. Whitworth was always ahead of schedule and finished the job before the promised finish date. He showed up personally on the job each day to make sure that everything was running smoothly and to his high and very strict standards. His prices are very affordable and his work is superb. I have been so pleased with my new music studio and have had so many compliments from parents of my violin students and visitors in my music studio. Mr. Whitworth comes highly recommended and I would never consider using anyone other than Whitworth Custom Homes in the future!

I first met Jonathan Whitworth in 1992. He was working for his dad Jack Whitworth of Withworth Electric. I observed him to be a very good and hard working person. Whitworth Electric has wired a total of five houses for me.
Whitworth Custom Homes has completed three jobs for me todate. The first was an addition to 821 North Locust. This was a 30 seat addition to Giuseppe's Italian. Restaurant.
The second was a complete restoration of 918 West Oak Street. The Oak Street house was built in 1895. This included both exterior and interior restoration. He also installed a paver stone driveway at this location.
The third and most recent was a two story carriage house with garage at the 918 West Oak Street location. This project showed his ability to take an idea his customer had and bring it to completion.
